3. PUBLICATION ETHICS
Mysore University Journals' peer-review process is an extremely important part of the publication process and improves the quality of the published article. All concerned parties, including the author, editorial board members, and publisher, must ensure the implementation of ethical behavior in publishing research papers.
PUBLICATION DECISIONS
The members of the Editorial Board work in an unbiased and impartial manner, and their decision is final regarding the publication of a paper. The selection process involves a thorough validation of the work. According to the policies of the journal, all our editorial board members are informed about legal requirements, copyright infringement, peer-review policies, and plagiarism policies.
INTEGRITY
The editors of the journal ensure that there is no discrimination based on the author's gender, religion, nationality, political beliefs, or citizenship when evaluating the manuscript.
STANDARDS OF OBJECTIVITY
Reviews are conducted in a way that is not influenced by personal feelings or opinions. The review process is carried out objectively. Personal comments or criticism about the author are inappropriate. The views of the referees should be clearly expressed with sufficient supporting arguments.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTHORS
Authors of original research must ensure that their reports accurately reflect the work performed, with clear objectives and discussions. The paper must contain proper details and references to provide sufficient information and prevent unnecessary replication of the work.
ORIGINALITY AND PLAGIARISM
Authors must confirm that they have written their articles entirely in their own words based on their research. If they use another author's work or words, they must appropriately cite or reference it. Submitting the same article to different publications or presenting almost the same research in multiple articles is unacceptable. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their papers are free from plagiarism as per the latest UGC guidelines. Proper acknowledgment must be given when citing or using another author’s work. If an author believes that any previous publication has influenced their paper, it must be cited appropriately.
